During the night little nightmares are creeping out of dark corners in a child’s room terrifying the sleeping kid while haunting in their dreams
Little Dreamcatcher is a third-person action game about a little guardian, defending the sleeping children from the hordes of evil nightmares.
My roles in this project:
Lead Developer:
- Developing all functionality
- Developed in the Unreal Engine 4
- used to the biggest part Unreal’s Visual Scripting
- supported this with some C++
- Used programming concepts:
- Object Oriented Programming
- Inheritance, Polymorphism and Interfaces
- Behaviour Trees
- Developed and maintained different behaviors for the enemies
- Trigonometry
- Implementing assets into the engine
- My responsibilities:
- Transforming the vision of the team into a playable game while maintaining this vision when stumbling on problems.
- Building a very early prototype, to support the vision. Also enabling getting a better feeling for the possibilities and restrictions of the game.
- Maintain the production schedule and ensuring everybody stays on track and in time.
